During the light-hearted discussion about wedding attire, Krishna Kumar made a quip about his apparent enthusiasm for the event. His joke, “You don’t say anything. This is the season of commissions. Don’t say marriage, etc. Do not come and knock on my door,” was accompanied by laughter from both him and Sindhu Krishna.

The comment was perceived as a mocking reference to the Hema Committee report's revelations about harassment, including instances where women actors faced unwanted advances, often with individuals knocking on their doors.
